We matched on a dating app in October 2020 and moved the messaging to WhatsApp at 10:22 on 16th October 2020. Exactly three years on from that first WhatsApp message – to the very minute – we will be married.

Aren’t you getting married on 28th October?
Technically, no. For purely pragmatic and financial reasons we have decided to get legally married on the 16th October. But that’s just the legal side. For us, the most important day is the one when we get to celebrate our wedding with the people we love the most. That’s you.

The 28th October is a celebrant-led wedding, where we will exchange our hand-written vows and rings, and publicly declare our love in front of our friends and family.
